Collection contains a letter from Count de Menou to Mills asking Mills to estimate a fair rental price for the buildings then occupied by the General Land Office. Mills' reply is on the reverse. Also included is a memorandum submitted to the Secretary of the Treasury, summarizing Menou's terms for renewing the rental lease on the property.
